[ClickPress, Fri Mar 10 2006] ActionAid Recycling's new recycling site for Ink and Toner Cartridges, PDAs and Mobile Phones and PDAs is now online with information and free services.
ActionAid Recycling have been actively involved in reducing waste and reducing poverty since 1993. In that time millions of printer cartridges and mobile phones have been kept out of landfill sites and recycled.
ActionAid Recycling believe that our business has a corporate responsibility to our local area and environment, and also on a more global level. We continue to promote best practice with regards to recycling and sustainability, and support the work of ActionAid.
The new website will bring free recycling solutions to a wider audience in an easy to understand and easy to navigate form.
ActionAid Recycling was founded by ActionAid and is now an independent registered
company. ActionAid Recycling pays to ActionAid ten percent of sales generated
from donated ink and toner cartridges, PDAs and mobile phones.
In 2004 this equated to 77% of the business profits of ActionAid Recycling.
