The beautiful station house building which sits in the centre of the Peak Shopping Village site is now home to Fosters Retail Gallery. The interior has undergone a major transformation in order to house Fosters’ range of accessories, gifts, arts and innovations. Fosters Retail Gallery is run and owned by Chesterfield based Peter Foster who has been retailing for over three decades.
Peter, who also runs a similar outlet in Dobbie’s Garden Centre near Chesterfield, is delighted with his new location: "The Station House here at Peak Village is a fantastic railway heritage building and is an ideal unit for our gallery. Peak Village itself is set in a stunning and unique retail location, so all in all we are delighted to be retailing from here. We offer a great mix of fashion accessories and bags in addition to gifts, arts and other innovations within what we are calling ‘The Old Station Gift Shop’. Our aim is to retail at the best possible price and offer excellent value, which is very much in line with the ethos of the other retailers at Peak Village."
Peter remains positive about the economic climate and suggests for Fosters Retail gallery it is business as usual: "I have been retailing for over 30 years and as a consequence survived many shifts in the economy and consumer confidence. We are delighted to be open to the public well in time for Christmas and looking forward to the making the most of the new location."

Peak Village is home to nearly 20 retailers including national names like Cotton Traders, Leading Labels, Ponden Mill, The Cook Shop and Mountain Warehouse. The outlet shopping centre attracts 750,000 visitors a year and offers visitors the opportunity to combine shopping with other local attractions.
