If you’re a student and haven’t a clue what you want to do after graduation, then come along and have a look at the Careers Pavilion sponsored by Capgemini at Technology Wales 2005. Entry is free and the event will take place on May 13, 2005 at the Cardiff International Arena (CIA).

Students who are interested in a career in the Welsh IT industry will find interesting tips and advice from the professionals present at the event. You’ll have the opportunity to meet representatives from prestigious companies such as IBM, Microsoft, Sequence, Imaginet, Tinopolis, O2, and BT, to name just a few.

TW05 is the largest IT event in Wales, catering for a thriving Welsh IT industry which is constantly on the lookout for new talent. The Careers Pavilion sponsored by Capgemini will offer companies with technology and IT based vacancies the opportunity to source new employees at the event.

Capgemini, one of the world’s leading providers of consulting, technology and outsourcing services, employs approximately 60,000 people worldwide in more than 30 countries. The multi-national company has a wide range of clients across sectors as diverse as financial services, healthcare, energy and utilities, life sciences, automotive, manufacturing, retail and distribution, telecoms, media and entertainment.

Capgemini is also well-known for its flexible and multi-cultural diversity approach to business, and a chat with the company delegates will be most beneficial to any student in need of enlightenment.

Trisha Howard, managing director of the event organisers Howard Events Ltd, comments: "Technology Wales, as an event, is committed to the health of Welsh IT businesses. We want to show our support and recognition of the flourishing IT industry within Wales. The Careers Pavilion is one way of achieving this. We want people and especially students to realise what the Welsh IT industry can bring them and how promising its future is."

Admission to the Careers Pavilion, the Exhibition Area and the day-long Seminar programme is free of charge.
