EMERALD ACQUIRES STUDIES IN ECONOMICS AND FINANCE

Emerald Group Publishing has acquired Studies in Economics and Finance, increasing its portfolio of accounting and finance titles to 16 journals. Studies in Economics and Finance provides a valuable form for publication of original theoretical and empirical research in economics and finance. The journal, now entering its 24th year of publication, addresses issues including corporate finance, financial markets, money and banking, international finance and economics, investments, and risk management.

[ClickPress, Wed Apr 19 2006] Studies in Economics and Finance will continue to be published in its print format but will now also be published electronically. Three issues are planned for 2006 and four for 2007.

Editor: Professor Mahendra Raj is professor of finance and course leader for the Masters in Financial Management at Aberdeen Business School at Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. He is a member of the Reporting Panel of the Competition Commission for the UK and a commissioner with the Accounts Commission for Scotland.
