Faster, higher resolution printer plotters from Trident

New high performance printers/plotters from Trident feature higher resolution, faster print speeds and more versatile interface options. These wide format printers are particularly suited to the harsh environments of the oil and gas industry and are used in a variety of applications from offshore platforms to exploration trucks.

The new Printrex 823 and 843 printer plotters from Trident are much faster than existing models, with plot speeds of two and four inches per second respectively. Despite the higher speeds, the new printers also produce plots of much higher image quality than the previous generation, with a 50% increase in linear dot density to 300dpi along with 32 levels of grey. The new printers also feature Ethernet interfaces, allowing them to be controlled remotely via a local area network (LAN). A USB port is also provided for local printer connection, as well as for upgrading the embedded printer firmware.

Like the established Printrex plotter range, the new 823 and 843 models are offered in desktop and rack mount form, ensuring that they can be readily used in the office or on a logging truck.
