[ClickPress, Mon Apr 20 2009] GAO Tek Inc.(www.GAOTek.com) has rolled out its UHF reader/writer port model (GAO236001) which is well suited for conveyor, ETC and other applications where high-speed adaptability and reliable reading rates are required. This modular unit provides easy implementations of RFID across the supply chain system in warehousing, distribution, and shop floors.

This reader/writer port model features high accuracy and identifies moving objects at a maximum speed of 40 to 50 km/h at read ranges of up to 7 meters. The reader maintains optimum performance even in harsh environments as it is waterproof and dustproof. In addition, it enables for future enhancement with built-in firmware upgradeable capabilities.
