[ClickPress, Fri May 12 2006] A Utah chapter of the America - Israel Friendship League has been formed and the organization today unveiled plans to hold an inaugural benefit dinner and program featuring a keynote address by Daniel Ayalon, the Ambassador of Israel, and Utah's attorney general, Mark Shurtleff.
The America - Israel Friendship League (AIFL) is a non-sectarian, non-political, not-for-profit organization focused on strengthening ties between the people of the United States and Israel. The Utah chapter of the AIFL is only the third local chapter formed outside of New York City and Tel Aviv.
The black tie optional kick-off benefit dinner and program will be held on the 23rd Floor of the Wells Fargo Center at 299 South Main Street in Salt Lake City on Wednesday, May 17 starting at 7 p.m.
Tickets to the benefit dinner and program start at $100 and include dinner and charter membership in the Utah chapter of the AIFL. Special seating during the dinner (including listing in the program, invitation to a 6 p.m. reception, and a photo opportunity) is also available for reserved tables for 10 guests at $1,500 and for preferred and premium tables of eight guests at $5,000 and $10,000. In addition, individuals and organizations making reservations for a ten thousand dollar premium table will also be invited to attend an additional exclusive event with the ambassador.
Organizations and individuals interested in supporting the Utah Chapter of the America - Israel Friendship League and attending its inaugural benefit dinner and program can make reservations by calling 801-502-9317.
Following more than three decades of success in building global friendship, the America-Israel Friendship League remains focused on expanding the reach of its programs. The AIFL (www.aifl.org) is opening new local chapters in communities across the U.S., with the Utah chapter of the AIFL being the third such chapter.
