New global SMS service takes PC messaging to the next level

ZYB is a new service that allows users to send and receive SMS on their PC to and from any mobile handset in the world. ZYB offers a number of new innovative features such as a auto forwarding, synchronization of contacts, easy grab-to-web features – and also a 3 GB online SMS storage outperforming the storage capacity offered by Google in their G-mail (admitted - it requires millions of SMS to fill it ;)). Users can send messages to phones outside their own country for prices 3-5 times lower than what their phone operator provides. Prices inside own country are at level with operator prices.

ZYB makes it possible to send SMS from PC to any mobile in the world and get replies back within few seconds allowing the users access all their messages as well as keeping a backup online. ZYB is the first service ever to combine global coverage, user-friendly design, two-way communication with local reply-to-numbers and online backup functionality.

During the first 2 weeks of operation the first 10 countries will be covered with local reply-to-numbers – thereafter a couple of countries will be added each month.

ZYB is available globally from April 28. Users can try the service for free (2 SMS) and thereafter purchase buckets of SMS (from 20 – 400). ZYB has high ambitions and are aiming for more than 70,000 paying customers by the end of the year. The high ambitions will be realized through partnerships with leading companies around the globe. As of now deals are signed with Maxthon (a browser with strong foothold in Asia, www.maxthon.com) and Spleak (a very popular chat robot, www.spleak.com). To make payment as easy as possible ZYB accepts both all major credit cards and that users pay through premium SMS (currently available in 18 countries).
