Arizona CLASH named Daniel Contreras Coach of the Year

[ClickPress, Tue Jun 16 2009] Daniel Contreras, of Gilbert has been named Coach of the Year for the Arizona C.L.A.S.H. ( Character, Leadership, Attitude, Stature and Heart) Coach Contreras is a native Arizonan. He and his lovely wife, Laura, live in Gilbert with their three children, Matt, Ryan, and Jordyn. He attended Red Mountain High School and played semi-professional ball with the Milwaukee Brewers Organization, as a second baseman. After baseball, he attained his Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix and is currently working as a Facilities Engineer for the Boeing Company. He began coaching while still in high school with his younger brother's little league teams and has been at it ever since. Coach Contreras specializes in young player development, but enjoys working with all ages. He is always available for one-on-one instruction and thoroughly enjoys teaching the fundamentals of baseball or what he considers "the greatest game ever played". --30—
