Bonafide Sound and the Casbar invites you to attend a night of sweet harmonies and conscious lyrics at The Casbar nightclub located inside the Days Inn.

The Mighty Diamonds were formed in 1969 in the  Trench town area of Kingston, Jamaica and for the past 39 years have been entertaining and educating the world. They quickly became known as the young group with the Motown sound with their soulful harmonies and polished performances. Their debut album "Right Time", released on the Virgin has become a classic.  It’s an album that belongs in every reggae collection. And is probably their most requested song when they perform. The trio has toured the world extensively and has a strong following in Europe and Japan as well as in the US.  In Jamaica they are forever loved, performing many times at Reggae Sunsplash to the delight of all in attendance.

Co billing with the Mighty Diamonds, Quest King David started touring the clubs in the US and became somewhat of a local hit when he returned to Trinidad. While King David is not strictly reggae as he is a versatile artist who delivers reggae, dancehall and soca, he is a great talent and you should listen to tracks like ‘Live Here’, ‘Answer to Jah’ and his first hit ‘Everything’.

Bonafide Sound is a group of motivated young men who are pleased to be a part of the growing community and also introduce to the public a wide variety of new progressive music native to the Caribbean. The versatility of the group business ventures and entertainment niche is a reflection of their diverse heritage background and dedication to sustainability. Some big acts recently presented include Capleton, I-Wayne, Chezidek, Mr. Perfect to name a few.

The newly renovated Casbar nightclub inside the Days Inn located at 3345 Santa Rosa Ave is a new edition to a family of long standing small business owners in the community committed to bringing Santa Rosa a variety of musical entertainment, ranging from inspiring indie rock bands to world famous Latin performers. The establishment is characterized by the hands-on, hardworking ethics that’s family structured and goes to great length to help nourish the local economy. Tickets are $15 at the door and must be 21 with a valid id to enter. Doors open 9pm sharp with Bonafide Sound selecting some of the hottest tunes.
