Winter weddings get off to a Bang at East Lodge!

Award winning hotel and restaurant East Lodge is giving away an exciting free firework display for new weddings booked at East Lodge for the remainder of 2009. The offer of free fireworks is part of East Lodge’s new winter weddings package, created to cater for the increasing number of requests for romantic winter weddings.

Couples are becoming much more flexible on wedding dates, since there is no guarantee of good weather in the summer months. Iain Hardman of East Lodge, said: "We have noticed a big increase in the number of enquiries to marry at East Lodge during the Autumn and Winter months, and we believe it is important that these weddings offer the same razzmatazz and polish that a spring or summer wedding can offer. We thought it would add an extra special touch to offer a free professional fireworks display for couples who are looking to book their weddings during the remainder of the year. This way the wedding party can enjoy the splendour of the grounds at East Lodge, whilst getting their wedding celebrations off to a real bang!"

The East Lodge wedding team has developed a winter package which will give a winter wedding celebration a real seasonal theme. Couples can choose to have a traditional Derbyshire hog roast instead of the more traditional summer BBQ, whilst photographic opportunities are enhanced by the floodlit water garden which makes a wonderful backdrop to wedding photos.

East Lodge has been awarded 2 AA rosettes for its superb seasonal menus so wedding parties will be treated to the very best of seasonal fair, hand-picked from its very own vegetable garden, just a few yards from the kitchen.
