Antenna Software Announces Availability of A3 Smartclient MX
A3 SmartClient MX Optimizes Field-based Processes with Unmatched Ease of Use
[ClickPress, Thu Jun 22 2006] Antenna Software, Inc., the leading provider of wireless software solutions for the mobile enterprise, announced today the availability of A3 SmartClient Message TransXactions (MX), a lightweight version of the company’s A3 SmartClient mobile application framework that allows companies to rapidly mobilize critical field-based processes. Antenna A3 SmartClient MX supports the latest handheld mobile devices and smartphones, including BlackBerry, Treo, Pocket PC, and Motorola Q, and integrates with dozens of enterprise applications and custom/legacy systems in real time.
“Antenna’s new A3 SmartClient MX combines the simplicity and rapid deployment of a paging device with the graphical user interface, always-on access, and multi-modal operation (applications, email, and voice) of the latest handheld devices and smartphones,” said Peter Semmelhack, founder and CTO of Antenna Software. “A3 SmartClient MX incorporates a highly intuitive, list-based user interface for at-a-glance interaction that effectively replaces inefficient manual processes, labor intensive call center support, and legacy paging solutions. It is the perfect solution to transform and optimize field-based processes quickly and easily.”
A3 SmartClient MX presents real-time, actionable information such as service calls, dispatch notifications, or sales leads, which are presented in list view so field-based personnel can quickly and efficiently evaluate them. They can then drill down on details, choosing from predefined context-sensitive menus of responses. Ensuring rapid deployment, low ongoing cost of ownership, and maximum user adoption, A3 SmartClient MX delivers results in a lightweight, intuitive package.
“Our research indicates that mobile field service solutions have driven such performance improvements as 27% increase in worker productivity, 19% increase in customer retention, 17% increase in profitability, and 13% increase in service revenues,” said Mark Vigoroso, Chief Research Officer & SVP, Service Chain Management Research, Aberdeen Group. “Real-time wireless applications allow field service workers to access and react to critical business data, resulting in improved productivity and customer satisfaction.”
A number of optional, on-demand applications are available as add-on enhancements for A3 SmartClient MX including Antenna’s A3 SmartCopy and A3 Voice. A3 SmartCopy automatically generates and delivers custom forms such as invoices and service reports via email or fax while in the field. A3 Voice provides Interactive Voice Response (IVR) functions to complement the handheld application.
Field sales and service employees at many companies, including Pitney Bowes, Toshiba America Medical Systems, and Siemens Business Services already rely on mobile applications from Antenna Software to send and receive real-time customer information while in the field. Antenna delivers real-time information from numerous on-premise and hosted CRM, ERP, supply chain management and other enterprise systems from leading vendors including Amdocs, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP. Antenna Software enables A3 customers to incorporate data from all of these systems into a single composite mobile application.
