Virtual Tales, an e-publisher of serialized novels and novellas spanning a variety of fiction genres and styles, announced that it has picked up three additional Science Fiction and Fantasy titles for distribution as serials through its new partnership with Canadian publisher Dragon Moon Press.

"We are very pleased to be able to offer these critically acclaimed works as we prepare to kick off our ‘Freedom from Paper’ promotion during weekend of July 1st-4th," said Dave A. Law, Chairman of Virtual Tales. "Visitors who join the e-mail lists for Virtual Tales and/or Dragon Moon Press will receive free e-books and e-serial subscriptions. As with our other titles, these serials from Dragon Moon Press are available for selection as prizes during this promotion, as well as for regular subscriptions."

The new Dragon Moon Press stories to be added to the Virtual Tales line-up in a serialized, electronic format include ALIEN DECEPTION, a Science Fiction novel by Tony Ruggiero. It tells the story of an alien conglomeration of civilized planets, The United Council for Developing Worlds, that wants to help the Earth move forward into space—or at least, that’s what they want us to believe…

BILLIBUB BADDINGS & THE CASE OF THE SINGING SWORD won an Honorable Mention for Best Fiction from ForeWord Magazine. Written by Tee Morris, this clever Fantasy puts a fresh spin on detective and gangster clichés in this witty and action-packed thriller about a working stiff dwarf who must take a stand against Al Capone.

Finally, there’s NOT YOUR FATHER’S HORSEMAN, a Fantasy by Valerie Ford, which also won an Honorable Mention for Best Fiction from ForeWord Magazine. In an alternate Earth, where elemental Magic keeps the universe in Balance, one young woman must discover who she is and how her unique Talents work before her world is destroyed by a past she didn’t know she had.
