A positive move to bring healthy food to New Zealand school kids

A new fresh food and service company actively tackling childhood obesity through the serving of fresh and healthy food to New Zealand school children.

This staggering statistic is of great concern to the community, schools and parents.

Increasingly parents are expecting school principals to assume some responsibility for the foods they are serving to their students who, they believe, should have access to a range of fresh healthy foods.

Recognising the importance of these healthy foods being available through school tuck shops, The Logan Corporation Group has invested in a new school and college canteen service in New Zealand called “Fresh n Fast Group NZ Limited”, who supply full fresh food and service catering to New Zealand schools including fresh healthy school lunch boxes daily.

They are discovering the menu consists of fresh foods made daily on the school premises, fresh fruits, fruit juice, healthy confectionary, less soft drinks and the use of low fat and low salt products in all cooking.
