UBIFRANCE flies French flag at NOR-SHIPPING

UBIFRANCE is working in conjunction with the French Trade Commission in Oslo to organise a French pavilion at the NOR-SHIPPING trade fair, which will be held in Oslo from 7 to 10 June 2005. UBIFRANCE is supported by COFRENA, the French Maritime Equipment Committee, and the Loire Atlantique General Council.

The NOR-SHIPPING trade fair, which is held biennially, is the major European shipbuilding event for 2005. In 2003, more than 1,000 exhibitors and 20,000 visitors attended the fair, which also featured some 20 national pavilions representing the world’s leading naval construction industries, including South Korea, Japan, China and Denmark.

This year’s official French Pavilion, which will include 15 top French maritime-industry companies, will offer a broader selection of maritime services and equipment, such as architecture, propulsion, furnishings, electronic systems, and security.

The following 15 French companies will be available to meet with visitors at the French Pavilion, to be located in Hall D of the trade fair – ACS Production (textile architecture), Alstom Power Conversion (propulsion), Altor Industrie (bathrooms), Bureau Veritas (certification), CNAI (maritime engineering), Forme et Signe (signage), Gaussin (industrial trailers and handling systems), Institut National de Plongée Professionnelle – INPP (dive training centre), Martec Serpe – IESM (safety equipment), Navtec (naval architecture and engineering), Nexans (cables), Orelis (filtration systems), Protecflam (fire protection), Servi Loire Industrie (on-board equipment) and Zodiac (lifeboats).
