Dee S. Whiter author of Age is Just a Number set to appear at 2006 Queens Book Fair. The 2006 Queens Book Fair will be held on August 19, 2006 at the historic Rufus King Park (153rd Street and Jamaica Ave.) Queens, New York. Self-Published authors and Published authors from a wide variety of genres are expected to participate in this year's book fair.

[ClickPress, Fri Aug 04 2006] Dee S. Whiter author of Age is Just a Number set to appear at 2006 Queens Book Fair. The 2006 Queens Book Fair will be held on August 19, 2006 at the historic Rufus King Park (153rd Street and Jamaica Ave.) Queens, New York.

Self-Published authors and Published authors from a wide variety of genres are expected to participate in this year's book fair. Last year over 90 authors from around the country participated in the 2005 book fair, and the book fair was covered in a feature article by Newsday.

The Queens Book Fair committee has established a web site at www.queensbookfair.com to better desiminate information for authors interested in participating as vendors and the general public wishing to support this year's book fair. The Queens Book Fair will begin at 11:00 am and end at 7:00 pm.

About the Author:

Dee S. White writes creative non-fiction, and has just completed her first book (book based on a blog). She authors ten blogs and newsletters covering life's issues, book reviews and Christian living. Aside from her own sites, her work can be found on Timbooktu.com, BlackExpression2005.com, SisterDivasMagazine.com and Webguru.com.

Her song Believe in Me has been included in the original soundtrack of SAVED the series. Her poem The Strong Black Woman is dead! Or is She? has been included in Songs of Hope anthology by BlackExpression2005 published May 2006.

She reviews independently and as part of the Active Christian Media Review Team. She was recently quoted in the Body Love section of the Spring '06 issue of Diane, the Curves magazine. She is the founder of Dee411 a community website with links to articles and resources to assist victims of abuse and rape.
