FreemanWhite Completes Bon Secours St. Francis Institute For Chronic Health Project

The four-story medical office building, located aboard St. Francis’ Millennium campus at 2 Innovation Drive in Greenville, S.C., is now open and houses the new Institute, which treats patients with chronic conditions, including diabetes, congestive heart failure and more.

DETAILS:
- The building, designed to be integrated into the campus’ pedestrian-friendly system of paths, gathering areas and featured artwork, provides 103,000 square feet of space. It includes a major cardiology practice, a state-of-the-art diagnostic center, resources for cardiac rehabilitation, a sleep center, a community education space and two concierge physician suites that focus on patient-centered care and convenience.

- The building’s exterior also features a drop-off canopy for patient comfort, and a secondary entrance provides a discreet patient access point that bypasses the main lobby.

- Other services at the Institute include community learning programming, an early detection and renewal center on the third floor and the HealThy Self fitness program on the second floor.

- The design has a number of green features, including roofing with high reflectivity and glazing selected to reduce heat gain and interior glare from the sun, and special pavers in the parking area that allow rainwater to penetrate to the ground beneath.
