Meanwhile, Denise Richards and Richie Sambora, who say they started dating only after their respective marriages to Charlie Sheen and Heather Locklear ended, are definitely going to need new “couple friends” since their old friends have likely been taking sides in the divorces,” Chalnick said.

Even Uma Thurman has recognized the need. Talking to People Magazine, Thurman said, “I really feel for people today. I see why everyone does online dating because how do you meet people? Wouldn’t it be funny if there were a celebrity online dating service for all the lost and lonely, socially inept, dysfunctional celebrities…and don’t know how to meet anybody?”

How Couplets.com Works
Within minutes of joining, new members can search for other couples based on zip code and similar interests based on a checklist of more than 40 different activities they enjoy together including dining, sports, theatre, and volunteering. They can learn more about other members by reading what they have to say, like how they met or brief descriptions of themselves. When they find an interesting couple, members can contact them securely via the Couplets.com website; privacy is maintained because email addresses are exchanged only when two couples agree to do so.
