Dr. James Dobson to speak for 25th Anniversary of KBRT-AM740
Host of Paul McGuire Show set to interview founder of Focus on the Family
[ClickPress, Tue May 24 2005] Costa Mesa, CA May 25, 2005 – KBRT-AM740 commemorates its 25th Anniversary with a month-long celebration of hi-profile interviews of America’s most influential spiritual leaders – ending on a high note with founder and Chairman of the Board for Focus on the Family, Dr. James Dobson. Dr. Dobson is no stranger to the station’s airwaves. He has been a prior guest of The Paul McGuire Show and has also played host to Focus’ own ministry program, which typically centers on how religious beliefs are informing and influencing debate on important cultural issues, and whether that influence is appropriate.
Paul McGuire is the host of KBRT’s syndicated talk show, The Paul McGuire Show, which airs Monday through Friday from 3:00-6:00pm Pacific Time. He is the author of fourteen books, professor at King College and frequent commentator for Fox News Network and CNN.
This month’s featured interview will take a look back at the beginning of the station and its successes, and include open conversation about radio ministry. The interview with Dr. James Dobson will air on May 25. It is one of several key interviews scheduled to mark the station’s 25th Anniversary celebration.
