Red Carpet Rolls Out For "The Welcome Book"

"Adlanta" seeks to redistribute millions of lost tourism dollars for Atlanta economy

[ClickPress, Mon Aug 21 2006] Everyone knows Atlanta. Or at least they think they do. Whatever the case, in a few months, seeing and experiencing Atlanta will be a very enjoyable and much easier experience. Adlanta Inc. recently announced their plans to release the "The Welcome Book," an annual publication scheduled to be released at the end of this year. The guide is intended for new residents and tourists alike. It is projected to be delivered to more than 50,000 hotel rooms in the Atlanta, Georgia market.

The premiere issue is projected to reach at least 16 million individuals. It is designed to help tourists and newcomers mobilize and organize. Typically, when tourists patronize local hotels, their stay involves only one event or attraction. And, it is not unusual for visitors to lose valuable time identifying and discovering the hot spots in Atlanta. Upon arriving they may spend several hours trying to uncover the secret hot spots in the city. This idle time translates to lost revenue for local businesses. The Welcome book is set to restore order.

"We are finding that The Welcome Book is a much needed and sought-after resource to businesses, restaurants, entertainment establishments, and service industries because it will allow them to target market in order to capture a portion of the projected 16 million visitors and newcomers who typically are lost to their establishments," commented Kim Nelms, an Area Account Manager for Adlanta. "The focus of the publication is to convey helpful information to the consumer and make it easier to read by disallowing unrelated advertising or articles. Spaces are limited due to the total books size restrictions. Above and beyond advertising, if you have a business that is suited for any of the Guides mentioned below, make certain the staff of 'The WelcomeBook™ is made aware of it," she concluded.

Each publication has colored-coded sections which are tabbed to as guides. Sections of Adlanta, Include:

Golf Guide
Churches Guide
Attractions Guide
Restaurant Guide
Outdoor Guide
Nightlife Guide
Newcomers Service Guide
Transportation Guide
Personal Care Guide
And much more

Adlanta is an extremely easy-to-use, informative resource tool and offers massive exposure for advertisers. In addition, it provides vital information for each featured section. For example, the Restaurant Guide includes cuisine, hours, dress code, reservation requirements and pricing, and the Nightlife Guide offers contact information, website, hours, cover charge, age requirements, drink minimums.

The publication is complimentary. According to Nelms, the guide is intended to reduce both room clutter and calls to the front desks and concierge in the area's hotels. It is devoted exclusively to the area's tourists and newcomers of the Atlanta, Georgia metropolitan. For more information, please visit http://www.mywelcomebook.com/.
