The pursuit of parachute jumping is as adrenaline packed as it comes and Andrew Holittle couldn't wait to don that parachute and experience the breathtaking thrill for himself!

"My grandfather was in an airbourne regiment in the army during World War II and, with immense courage, undertook numerous parachute jumps...I guess my wanting to do it is a tribute to my grandfathers' bravery," says Andrew as he explains his motivations behind wanting to take part in the event, which is largely similar to Skydiving but doesn't incorporate the free falling aspect.

"After scouring the internet, I came across a company called The Activity People who offered a the best deals and packages that I could find and when I phoned up they were extremely helpful, taking no time at all to find the perfect venue for me which meant I was on my way to the airfield before I knew it!" recalls Andrew as he explains how the Experience Days company The Activity People handled his booking for him from start to finish. "The Activity People were really great actually, they went that extra mile to accomodate all the requirements of my booking."

Andrew goes on to explain just how exhilarating the parachute jump was and outlines his plans to go on to do more adrenaline experiences, "it was absolutely unbelievable from beginning to end! The plane went up to around 5000 feet and then it was time to jump...it was an amazing experience to view the earth from a whole other perspective and I can't wait to get back up there and do it again! My grandfather was waiting for me when I landed and wasn't backwards in coming forwards in telling me what I did wrong during my jump!" laughs Andrew as recollects his invigorating adventure.

"The Activity People parachute jumping was undoubtedly one of the greatest things I have ever done and I would recommend it to absolutely anyone...I just hope I did my grandfather proud!"
