2nd annual conference will debate industry standards

The Screen Association’s 2nd annual conference will discuss the way forward for the Screen Media industry

[ClickPress, Wed Sep 06 2006] The 2nd annual screen-media industry conference, hosted by The Screen Association, will be held on Tuesday 10 October 2006 in BT Tower, London. The main topics on the agenda will be a review of progress in the industry, and the development of a roadmap for progressing standards and guidelines which will stimulate industry growth.

Several contributors will offer a balanced and highly informed view of the current position, and provide a platform for discussion of the way forward. Speakers will include senior representatives from companies such as Ipsos Mori, ABC Electronic, Vizeum, Samsung and ShopperCentric. These presentations will be followed by a panel and discussion group to consider the issues.

The event will allow a full discussion of issues which are seen by many to be key to industry progress. These issues, which include the challenge of developing a viable measurement and validation model for network performance, are discussed at length in a recent White Paper authored by The Screen, and the October conference will build upon the foundations of this document.

The cost is £195 (plus VAT) for Screen non-members and £145 (plus VAT) for Screen members.
