Vaco Raleigh Names New Director Of Design And Gaming

David R. Rhode, managing partner of Vaco Raleigh, LLC (www.vaco.com), an executive placement and consulting firm, has announced that Suzanne Meiler has joined the firm as the director of Design and Gaming, where she will be responsible for serving the candidate needs of clients in the design, gaming, eLearning and media professions. Her job duties will include account management and professional recruitment.

Prior to joining Vaco, Meiler worked as the lead environment artist on a major game development title, where she managed an art team, assisted in staffing the team, and produced documentation for development tools. Meiler has been a key member of various development teams and has personally shipped that produced 10 video games for the personal computer, Sony Play Station 2, Xbox and Xbox 360. Most of her work has been on AAA titles, including a title that won Game of the Year. Meiler has 10 years of high level development experience in the videogame industry.

- Originally from Buffalo, N.Y., Suzanne has lived in the Raleigh area for more than 15 years. She currently resides in Apex, N.C.
