118 trades helps local youth teams with sponsorship programme

Daniel Corby, founder and CEO of 118 trades, has launched a new 'win-win' deal to promote the 118 trades brand at the same time as helping local clubs across Britain

[ClickPress, Mon Sep 11 2006] Fast growing internet directory service, 118 trades is helping local charities and football clubs with the launch of a community based support fund.

Daniel Corby, founder and CEO said “I wanted 118 trades to help the local communities in which it operates and we have established a fund to help and support local football clubs, youth groups and other charitable organisations. Today, for example, 118trades has sponsored an under 9 football club in Hatfield Peveral, Chelmsford and 118 trades will be funding new kit purchases which will be emblazoned with our logo. We’re now actively seeking to help other local clubs, across Britain, from John O’Groats to Lands end, there must be plenty of football clubs, youth groups and charities which could do with a helping hand. We believe that it is important to help local communities, and sport sponsorship is an area which helps us and helps them. It really is a win – win deal for all involved. The football club get a new kit, fully funded and 118trades gain some valuable local exposure at the same time. The sponsorship of Hatfield Peveral under 9’s is one of around a dozen sponsorship agreements that we have entered in the last year, but hopefully one of more than 30 more this year”
