Durrani Design Celebrates a Duo of Website Launches

Durrani Design ended 2009 with a bang, launching newly redesigned websites for two clients, First Aid 2000 and The Brittle Company. As a result, these two companies are starting 2010 with a fresh online presence.

The first of Durrani’s year-end launches was the website www.fa2000ca.com, the online home of First Aid 2000. This company provides safety and first aid equipment to schools and businesses in a myriad of industries. As First Aid 2000 realized that their own industry was becoming increasingly reliant on the web to gain new business, they hired Durrani to create a website to showcase their company’s services and massive inventory.

Durrani built the First Aid 2000 website on a WordPress platform to make use of its impressive Content Management System (CMS). If a product code changes, if offerings change, or if new features need to be highlighted, those edits can be made quickly and easily – minimizing the effort of upkeep for the site.
The second recent Durrani celebration is the launch of the website www.lavacrunch.com. The redesigned site was created for The Brittle Company, a nationwide producer and distributer of two varieties of brittle with a "distinctively light crunch," LavaCrunch, Macadamia Nut Brittle and Gold Country Crunch, Peanut Brittle.

Lavacrunch.com now utilizes a MIVA Merchant shopping cart, custom-built with a restricted area for wholesalers to access pricing and additional materials which remain hidden from competitors and the general public. Durrani gave The Brittle Company a new logo, applying a wooden, Old West theme and integrated a design that reflected the warm colors of the company’s existing branding. The global footer illustrates the company’s two products—the foliage represents the island-themed LavaCrunch, while the golden foothills represent the Old West-themed Gold Country Crunch.
