QUOTES:
"Artspace is excited to offer these college prep courses for high school students pursuing higher education in fine arts programs," said Poole. "The courses will teach students a variety of new skills as well as help them build portfolio pieces for college applications."

DETAILS:
- All rising ninth- through 12th-grade students are eligible to attend these courses.

- Students will learn how to build a portfolio showing a specific body of artwork. Special attention will be given to the presentation of their work for the portfolio, including a constructive and thorough critique process. At the end of the series, students will have several finished projects suitable for their portfolios, and will have the tools to continue adding to their best examples.
