Ensim has extended its partnership with BroadSoft to include integration of its Unify VoIP software with BroadSoft’s BroadWorks® release 13 VoIP application platform. The companies’ combined product offering gives service providers enhanced capabilities to automate provisioning and integrate with their existing OSS applications to rapidly introduce, deliver and manage VoIP services.

BroadSoft's IMS-compliant BroadWorks platform provides a comprehensive range of VoIP applications, including hosted PBX, IP Centrex, mobile PBX, business trunking and residential broadband services fully integrated into a single VoIP application platform. By deploying Ensim’s award-winning service delivery software with the BroadWorks platform, Service Providers can provision multiple hosted services, including IP Centrex VoIP, to their users at the same time, requiring staff to master only one simplified provisioning interface, and quickly build up service differentiation without operational complexity.
The combined Ensim Unify/BroadWorks solution enables providers to:
• Simplify the provisioning and management of VoIP services to organizations and users
• Empower resellers and resellers within resellers by providing them with their own portals that can be branded individually, internationalized and self-managed
• Provision multiple hosted services to users through one simple GUI, reducing the need for additional training
• Integrate the Unify platform with existing or new applications or customize their solution, through the Ensim Unify SDK and other extension mechanisms.
Among the key features Ensim Unify brings to the BroadWorks VoIP platform is its Devices Service Manager, which allows service providers to efficiently and easily configure customers’ SIP phones and other VoIP devices. This Service Manager provides an extension toolkit to add new devices easily.
Ensim Unify also helps service providers achieve greater efficiencies by enabling the bulk provisioning of VoIP services. By provisioning multiple VoIP users concurrently, providers can reduce their operating expenses, while at the same time dramatically decrease the time required to deploy their customers.
