Nell McAndrew joins SOCATOTS

SOCATOTS the world’s first soccer specific physical play programme for children from six months to five years of age has signed up Nell McAndrew to front some of the awareness campaigns SOCATOTS is involved in.

[ClickPress, Thu Sep 28 2006] Speaking of the PR coup, Simon Clifford commented ‘Nell is from Leeds just like SOCATOTS and shot to global fame in 1996 as the real life version of Lara Croft for the Tomb Raider films and games for Eidos. She has remained in the public profile ever since and now does a wide range of charity work as well as appearances, she also completed the London Marathon in 2005 in 3 hours and ten minutes! I do really think she will be a perfect fit for us and help tremendously in terms of raising awareness of SOCATOTS and what we are doing.

Nell is set to appear at the next SOCATOTS training course in Leeds on the 28th October. The intention is for SOCATOTS and Nell to team up over the long-term and form a unique partnership that helps more children throughout the world to benefit from and get involved in SOCATOTS.

SOCATOTS is now running successfully in Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Holland as well as the UK and is set to launch later this year in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Portugal and New Zealand.
SOCATOTS® is an innovative programme created by Simon Clifford in 2003. There are now over 200 SOCATOTS® centres around the world all aiming to give children their very first start with a ball. Sessions are emphasised on largely on fun and structured play throughout all ages. The equipment used is specially designed for children to develop physical skills of agility, balance and coordination. All sessions also involve full parental participation.
