Bookhitch is giving back to the community; Attention all writers!

One book, talented writers and aid organizations. Join the bookhitch community book project, help write a book and use your talent to raise money for non-profits.

[ClickPress, Wed Oct 04 2006] bookhitch.com is launching a collaborative book-writing project. All are invited to join this enormous project, and write a book in an effort to raise money for non-profit organizations. The project is expected to get underway later this month.

“The purpose of bookhitch is to connect authors, publishers and readers. This new project will help the bookhitch community come together, and benefit individuals across the World through charitable donations. Writers can use their talent to raise money, and give back to their readers”. - bookhitch staff.

The first chapter installment has already been written and will go live at the end of the month. Visitors to the site read each chapter and submit their version of the next chapter to the website, in essence deciding the plot of the book. You will then vote which chapter comes next. The book will be brought to mass market and 100% of the profits will be divided amongst chosen organizations.
