Bhagyanagar India has posted a net profit of Rs 2.92 crore in the third quarter ended December 2009, compared to Rs 43 lakh in the corresponding period last year.
Net sales during the quarter at Rs 41.59 crore was almost flat compared to Rs 41.68 crore registered in the corresponding quarter last year.
Revenue from the company's copper business was up 26 per cent at Rs 37.28 crore while revenue from telecom division fell drastically to Rs 3.10 crore from Rs 10.98 crore last year.
Wind power business brought in Rs 1.20 crore this quarter while infrastructure business contributed Rs 40 crore.
