CHICAGO (April 2005)—Vong’s Thai Kitchen™ (VTK), located at 6 West Hubbard, features a fabulous 20-seat Outdoor Patio, which opens April 2005. Situated outside the restaurant on the Northwest corner of State and Hubbard Streets, the Patio is open seven days a week.

A collaboration between Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises Inc.® and Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, VTK is a casual establishment featuring Thai cuisine. Coupling an exotic dramatic interior with a versatile menu and exceptional service, VTK provides a relaxed, yet fun and energetic experience uniquely tailored for business dining and social entertainment.

Heralded as one of "Chicago’s Top 20 New Restaurants" (Chicago magazine, May 2002), VTK is known for its impeccable cuisine, which includes such favorites as the Tuna Wasabi Pizza; Garlic Chicken with Thai Chilies; Classic Spicy Red Curry Chicken; Panang Curry Shrimp; Pad Thai with Crab and Shrimp; and Tamarind Glazed Tilapia.

To enhance the distinct flavors of the menu, VTK specializes in a sultry mix of specialty cocktails, including a Thai-Jito Mai-Tini, Lemongrass Soda and the Red Passion. Offering an array of global wines by the glass and a wide range of Asian beers, VTK has the perfect pour to complement its menu.


VTK’s 20-seat Outdoor Patio will be open Monday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. to
2 p.m.; Saturday, from 12 noon to 5 p.m. for lunch, and Monday through Thursday 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.; Friday 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.; Saturday 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.; and Sunday 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. for dinner. The indoor dining room will be open Friday 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Saturday, 12 noon to 11 p.m. and Sunday, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. (dinner only). Valet parking is available daily for lunch and dinner.


VTK, 6 West Hubbard, is open seven days a week. Lunch is served Monday through Friday, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Saturday, from 12 noon to 5 p.m. Dinner is served Monday through Thursday, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.; Friday, from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.; Saturday, from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.; and Sunday, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. VTK offers semi-private dining for parties of 15 to 40 people.
