Firstobject Technologies (FTL) plans to set up a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Visakhapatnam.
The process, being part of FTL’s expansion programme, has begun by consultations with concerned officials of Visakhapatnam SEZ, FTL told BSE on Monday.
FTL, a provider of integrated business, technology and process solution on global delivery platform, has a minority stake in Octant Interactive Technologies Limited, which runs 118 Emergency helpline in US and also holds 51 per cent stake in US-based telecom company Tractel Solutions.
Besides software development, the Company made foray into Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO).
FTL financial figures for the quarter ended September 30, 2009, has shown a net profit of Rs 5.15 million and total income of Rs Rs 52.45 million.
