[ClickPress, Mon Oct 09 2006] FoneKey, Inc. is pleased to announce that they have completed the negotiation of contracts for the installation of Fonekey into two hotels in Bombay (Mumbai) India. Installation is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2007 and is expected to take nine months.

Along with these contracts a proposal is also being considered by a major hotel in Dubai for an 855 room conversion to Fonekey, and others within the top ten hotel chains are reviewing the advantages this technology presents.

Donald Mossman President of FoneKey Inc. notes, “we are pleased to get these first agreements in place and look forward to the proliferation of this technology which allows a hotel guest to use the same wireless hand held device to make a hotel reservation, check-in and check-out remotely, open the hotel room door, operate the guestroom safe and mini bar, and remotely preset the environmental conditions in the room”.

Mr Sree Rohra, whose family owns these hotels in Mumbai is quoted as saying “we are excited at this opportunity to offer our guests such convenience while also gaining better control over the expenses associated with the hotel’s operations. We are constantly looking for ways of making these easier for our patrons. This is a major step in this direction”.
