Whim’s Place Flash Fiction Contest Now Open to Submissions
Submit your short story by December 30, 2006 to be eligible for this quarter’s grand prize of $250.
[ClickPress, Mon Oct 09 2006] Writers are encouraged to enter the fourth quarter Whim’s Place Flash Fiction Contest, which closes December 30.
Betsy Gallup, owner of Whim’s Place, hosts the Whim’s Place Flash Fiction Contest four times per year, and this quarter is offering a grand prize of $250, a second prize of $150, a third prize of $100, and five honorable mentions of $50 each.
This quarter’s guest judge is Dawn Rachel Carrington, a multi-published author of fantasy and paranormal romances, and currently writes for Ellora’s Cave, Samhain Publishing, and Pocket Books.
Stories must be 500 words or less, with an entry fee of $5US; submissions are being accepted online or via regular mail.
