PixieTV, a new community based video sharing/hosting service, today announced the beta release of there new service that shares ad revenue with users.

[ClickPress, Mon Oct 30 2006] PixieTV, a new community based video sharing/hosting service, today announced the beta release of there new service. “We are very excited about the release of this new project, mainly because we believe that it will become an asset to content creators, bloggers, and webmasters that enjoy creating and/or sharing video clips online,” Said John Ghabra, co-founder and CEO of PixieTV.

One of the most exciting features of PixieTV is the unique revenue sharing model, which allows anyone and everyone to participate and profit through the use of the site. Every user receives a portion of the advertising revenue generated from the videos that they upload, as well as from their personal profiles. Users may fill their profiles with any content they would like, including any videos found on PixieTV, no matter who uploaded them, and profit from the advertising on there page. PixieTV has also implemented a fast and friendly user interface that allows users to quickly and effortlessly find videos on the site.

After spending months in development, PixieTV.com has finally been release for beta testers. The site has been put online as an invitation only beta version. Anyone interested in becoming a beta tester should visit www.PixieTV.com and request an invitation. Anyone that requests an invitation will receive updates on the site’s progress and will be able to participate in deciding what features should or should not be added or removed.

”We are closer then ever to launching the site and, needless to say, we are very excited. After we get a fair amount of beta testers on the site, add a few new features, and work out all of the bugs, we will open the site to everyone,” Said Adam DeMuth, co-founder and CTO of PixieTV.
