Australia’s Hottest Denim Line is Picked Up by Los Angeles Retailer

[ClickPress, Tue Nov 14 2006] The hottest new denim line from Down Under, Niki Flynn, which made its runway debut at the Peroni Nastro Azzurro’s “Italian Style in a Bottle” event in San Francisco, has been picked up by Los Angeles retailer American Rag Cie. The line was represented for the Peroni event and retail showings by Niki Flynn brand manager and founder of MaleOrderOnly.com, Hareth Tayem:

“I’m so excited to be introducing Niki Flynn to the States through American Rag. I cannot imagine a better representative to endorse and attach a great clientele to our denim line. The support for this label has been tremendous, and American Rag will nurture the cult following of this label is sure to inspire.”

This is the first retail placement of the line in the United States.

The denim jeans are not knock offs of other trendy brands, but is designed to express individual and unconventional concepts that are exclusive to Niki Flynn. This unique brand will continue to grow and reflect the artistic expressions of the designer.

The Niki Flynn collection is comprised of two lines: “Drive-by” and “Freedom”. The “Drive-by” line features denim jeans that are individually shot with a 357 magnum and feature a rosette of bullet casings on the left hip pocket. The “Freedom” line features patches of American Armed Service uniforms under areas of abrasion. A portion of the proceeds from the “Freedom” line are donated to charities that support the families of wounded servicemen and women.

Consumers can expect to see Niki Flynn at American Rag Cie in Los Angeles after January 1, 2007. The jeans will retail for $200 USD.
