HETTICH SUCCESSFUL WITH DRAWER RUNNER AND LOCKING SYSTEM

Hett's combination now available in ball bearing slides, offering furniture manufacturers fewer compenents.

[ClickPress, Fri Nov 17 2006] Hettich’s combination drawer runner and locking system is now available in ball bearing slides. This all-in-one system offers furniture manufacturers fewer components, and because the system is fitted rationally, the existing drawer design does not have to be modified.
Because they are complicated to fit and are not flexible, locking bars are no longer used with ball bearing slides. Today, the combination "Stop Control" locking system/ball bearing slides offer several distinct advantages: compatibility with the 25 and 32 mm hole line system, high forced-opening resistance, straightforward installation, different lock connectors, self-closing, central locking and anti-tilt feature.
Combined with "Stop Control," ball bearing slides require two additional mounting holes to accept the "Stop Control" housing. All of the main ball bearing slides now come with these holes as standard. System compatibility is also ensured for wood and steel furniture. Wood furniture must be grooved to accommodate the "Stop Control" locking bar. Alongside the standard system components of lock connector, "Stop Control" housing and activator, steel furniture requires an additional adapter for fixing the "Stop Control" locking bar.
