[ClickPress, Wed Nov 22 2006] Despite a difficult 2006 MotoGP championship for Camel Yamaha, the team were big winners in terms of overall television screen presence.

Rossi’s team topped the table in terms of screen presence with a share of 25.2%. The new MotoGP World Champion Nicky Hayden’s Repsol Honda team finished second just behind Camel Yamaha with a share of 22.2%. However one of the big success stories in terms of coverage in this seasons championship was the Honda LCR team who finished 5th overall, this is all the more surprising as the team had only one rider Australian Casey Stoner.

Sports Marketing Surveys Belgium has recently published a full report on the 2006 Moto GP World Championship.

This comprehensive report will provide insight on:
• Global TV Coverage and audiences.
• Team share of voice (all markets & all MotoGP teams).
• Sponsor exposure evaluation.

The report will be available in December 2006
