Middle East’s pioneering brand ‘THE One’ selects Dubai Ideal Home Show 2006 for its first-ever entry in an exhibition


[ClickPress, Tue Nov 28 2006] THE One - Total Home Experience, the leading home fashion brand in the Middle East, has come on board to create ‘drama, passion and magic’ at the Dubai Ideal Home Show 2006.

The region's leading event for home lovers and property owners which brings together a host of experts from interior designing to property and the culinary world, is scheduled to be held from November 30th - December 3rd, 2006 at the Airport Expo Dubai.

Announcing the first-ever entry in an exhibition by the UAE-born global brand, Mr. Christopher Hudson, Exhibitions Director of Messe Frankfurt, organizers of Dubai Ideal Home Show, said: “This is the first time THE One has exhibited in any event and Dubai Ideal Home Show 2006 is privileged to host such a pioneering brand. This recognition by THE One is a mark of our show’s wider appeal that permeates into every aspect of home styling.”

THE One, which recently celebrated its first decade of roaring success, will have its funky 200-square meter theatre right in the front where loads of home fashion products will be up for sale, including its naughty but nice ‘Wicked Christmas’ range.

Thomas Lundgren, Inventor of THE One said: “We are excited about participating in our first ever consumer exhibition and see the Dubai Ideal Home Show as a great way to inspire and entertain our fans as well as a perfect opportunity for new fans to get to know us.”

Additionally there will be two special theatres – the Jotun Inspiring Ideas Theatre and the Tefal Taste Temptation Theatre – where experts in each area will be interacting with visitors. They include renowned celebrity designers Linda Barker, Paul Bishop, Gordon Russell and Mary Gilliatt, landscape expert Grant Donald and leading Feng Shui consultant Georgia Kiafi at the Jotun Inspiring Ideas Theatre.

For those more inclined towards the kitchen-side of home, there will be celebrity TV chefs like Osama El Sayed, Sanjeev Kapoor and Ainsley Harriott appearing at the Tefal Taste Temptation Theatre.

The event that hosted over 200 exhibitors and received more than 7,500 visitors last year, is set to register manifold increase in the numbers, going by the interest already generated among the leading brands in the region and beyond.

“The number of offers and promotions at the show will truly amaze visitors and it has to be seen to be believed,” pointed out Mr. Hudson.
