A college in London has joined the European Council for International Schools [ECIS] in their bid to help spread good practice and maintain high standards in global education.

As an international school membership organization, the council provides services to support professional development, curriculum and instruction, leadership and good governance in international schools located in Europe and around the world.

Speaking at the college Mr Obeng De Lawrence, principal of International Teachers {ITC] London, expressed his delight with the prospect of working with the ECIS as an affiliate member.

Formerly called Dream Harvest College, ITC-London has a long history of offering training and assistance for work or placements in the UK and International Schools for teachers from all over the world. Details can be found at www.itclondon.org

Now offering all forms of delivery, including distance learning, schools and colleges from all over the world can have access to British Education through partnership or by applying directly.

“Our aim is to share and spread good practice through working with governments, educators, teachers and school managers. What is needed now is a drive towards a new understanding and willingness to direct resources towards teacher competency, and we hope much can be achieved through working together”, said Obeng De Lawrence.
