AlphaStaff Group, Inc. Names John Gibson as Chief Executive Officer

John Gibson has been named chief executive officer of AlphaStaff Group, Inc., (“AlphaStaff”), one of the nation’s largest professional employer organizations (PEO).

[ClickPress, Tue Jun 08 2010] John Gibson has been named chief executive officer of AlphaStaff Group, Inc., (“AlphaStaff”), one of the nation’s largest professional employer organizations (PEO). He will also serve as a member of the Board of Directors. The announcement was made today by James Madden, chairman of the board.

Previously, Gibson was president of Convergys Corporation’s HR Management Division, a provider of HR outsourcing for global companies, where he was responsible for leading the strategy for the HR Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) business globally in both the private and public sectors. Under his leadership, the company was named the Top Human Resources Outsourcing Performer of 2009 by Global Services Magazine and cited as a top five BPO service provider. Gibson has been named an HRO Superstar by HRO Magazine every year since 2006.

Prior to Convergys Corporation, Gibson was executive vice president and corporate officer of EPIX Holding Corp, a former PEO. Gibson also served in various sales and executive positions at Ameritech and Eziaz, a Crosspoint Ventures company.

Gibson holds a double major in economics and political science from Indiana University.
