The Autism Awareness Campaign UK thanked the people of London and across the UK for supporting the the bid. The campaign said the games coming to London would be wonderful for all people with disabilities.

Even the Prime Minister energised the bid and his lobbying in Singapore was an outstanding success. This is London's finest hour. ' said Ivan Corea, a London 2012 Ambassador.
London will organise the greatest show on earth in 2012 - the bid had vision and Seb Coe ran a marvellous race striking gold in Singapore. The Olympic and Paralympic games will be good for Britain, good for London, good for all communities and for all people with disabilities.
