Charlyn Corral to make appearance at the NSCAA convention in January

Mexico teenage sensation Charlyn Corral to launch promotional tour

[ClickPress, Tue Jan 02 2007] 15-year old Mexico National Team sensation Charlyn Corral will launch a promotional tour for FC Indiana in January with her first stop coming at the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) convention.

Corral will be available for autographs and pictures at the 2007 NSCAA convention on January 11 and 12 2007 at the Indianapolis Convention and Exposition Center downtown Indianapolis. Her visit to Indianapolis is sponsored by Women’s Football International (WFI).

Both FC Indiana and WFI will host meetings with representatives of Italy, Russia and Belarus Women’s Football Associations.

At just 14 years old, the forward created shockwaves with her blistering pace and finishing skills and becoming the youngest ever scorer at a recently completed Women’s U20 World Cup in Russia. She scored two goals in Mexico’s historic 4:2 win over Switzerland. During the CONCACAF qualifying tournament for the event held in Veracruz, Mexico last January, Corral became the best goal scorer with 8 goals in 5 games. At such tender age, she was instrumental in securing her country's qualification for the World Cup.
