Financial firms' top ten issues for 2007: Customers come first
Focussing on customers is key as financial firms set the agenda for discussion in 2007
[ClickPress, Wed Jan 03 2007] Customer focussed initiatives and regulations are at the forefront of financial firms' agendas in 2007 as the UK's leading firms set the 2007 agenda items for Clearconcepts' Financial Services Discussion Club.
Of the top ten issues up for discussion, half are centred on customer relations, including: Complaints Handling, Financial Promotions, Communicating with Customers, The Financial Services Authority's (FSA) Treating Customers Fairly initiative and Customer Retention.
The other issues chosen for discussion in 2007 are all focussed around regulatory compliance, including: the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID), Capital Requirements Directive, Anti Money Laundering, and FSA Principles-based Regulation.
Forums will be held every month in 2007, in London, Leeds and Manchester and will be attended by senior managers with a customer focus in the retail finance sector.
