With the huge demand and appetite for outsourcing and off-shoring business and IT services, it is imperative that businesses manage their internal and external relationships effectively and transparently. By adopting a recognised and rigorous methodology for Business Relationship Management, organisations will gain competitive advantage in the global marketplace through the formation of stronger and more fulfilling business relationships.

Working with Partnership Sourcing Limited (PSL), whose CRAFT methodology underpins PAS 11000, Parity, known for its IT and Management Training and Learning Solutions has developed a range of courses and workshops that can be delivered on a public platform and as closed, organisation-specific events.

PAS 11000, the Publicly Available Specification that serves as a precursor to BS 11000, was launched towards the end of 2006 before the House of Lords, and has already generated considerable interest – it has potentially wide applications across the public sector as well as the commercial and non-profit sectors for facilitating collaboration.

Rick Firth, Managing Director of Parity Training comments, "The need for a recognised standard is absolutely crucial. Classic methods of relationship management are inadequate when faced with the complex and sophisticated arrangements within insourcing, outsourcing and off-shoring contracts. These relationship management products and services sit well within Parity’s existing portfolio, complementing, in particular, the range of service management courses (including ITIL) and the SFIA skills framework."

David Hawkins, PSL’s Operations Director adds, "We are pleased to be associated with Parity as our first collaborative partner to deliver CRAFT training programmes and lay the foundation for BS 11000. Our combination of skills, experience and resources provides a unique capability to further promote the Partnering message and help organisations implement programmes."
