Bite of Seattle 2005 Digital Point-Of-View Photo/Video Contest

Seattle, WA – Everyone that attends the 24th annual Bite of Seattle festival of food, drink and entertainment July 22-24 at the Seattle Center with a camera, picture cell phone or camcorder is eligible to enter their multimedia points-of-view in the Bite of Seattle 2005 Digital Point-Of-View Photo/Video Contest at Yahoo Group FreFair - http://groups.yahoo.com/group/frefair

To enter the online contest, contestants will need an account on Flickr.com, a free photo sharing site, and Vimeo.com, a free video sharing site. Individuals do not have to enter the contest to share their digital photos or videos. Links to images, video, photo galleries or blogs can be sent to frefair (at) yahoogroups (dot) com.

"There are oodles of online digital photos and blog accounts that the mega search engines just do not pick up," states JOlmsted, the online digital Seattle Summer 2005 Events contest organizer. "Our growing online community provides an easy, free, non-restricted site for everyone to share diverse view points as well as celebrate individual’s creative use of digital recording mediums. Online photo/video contests have already been created for the Fremont Parade/Fair and the Seattle Pride Parade/Festival where thousands of images are now available to an international audience. Hopefully, next year the local media (TV, Radio, Newspapers) and/or event organizers will provide an online outlet for attendees to share their experiences."
