Wolfestone's 5 Star Project Management

Having recently hired 2 further Project Managers to strengthen the team and provide each customer with even more personalised customer service, Wolfestone has now begun an ambitious training programme. Each and every one of the Project Managers is now qualified to the exacting standards of the Association for Project Management, a designation which no other translation company can claim.

The entire team was put through its paces thoroughly in an intensive and exacting training course which dealt with every aspect of project management, ranging from the initial contact with the client, management and co-ordination of the actual translation process, ongoing client communication through to post-delivery feedback. The entire process culminated in a highly testing examination which assessed the team in every aspect of the project management process. As ever, Wolfestone passed with flying colours.

This is part of the ongoing process at Wolfestone which aims to meet and exceed client expectations every time. Procedures are subject to constant review in order to identify and eliminate deficiencies, and also to recognise and promote good practices. This benefits Wolfestone itself greatly, in that well-thought out business practices ultimately save the Project Manager time when running a project. This also, however, is of great benefit to clients as it saves them time and money, ensures the absolute highest quality with no problems regarding deadlines or budgets, and enables them to simply assign their translations to one company, Wolfestone, knowing that they will be dealt with efficiently and professionally. Customer retention and satisfaction is therefore high. One client, the Welsh Assembly Government, had this to say regarding Wolfestone's quality:

"[We are] very grateful to the team for the work they've undertaken and would highly recommend Wolfestone Translation. They have provided a very professional service throughout the process, completing some very complex translation work quickly and without hassle."

It is satisfied clients such as these which have enabled Wolfestone to record huge levels of growth, even in a recession deeper than any in living memory. Quality will always be valued, whatever the economic conditions, and it is this professionalism which produces the customer satisfaction and the consequent growth. Wolfestone is planning to go still further, with more training planned for the Project Management team.

Director Anna Bastek said "We see training and investment in our people as key to the success of Wolfestone Translation. We wouldn’t be where we are now in terms of the company profile and growth without our staff. In our selection process we make sure that Wolfestone staff have the right attitude and are also willing to get further qualifications and broaden their horizons. The APM training will ensure that all project managers deal with all customers and projects in a professional and consistent way and that Wolfestone is a leading translation company who cannot be beaten on timescales and quality."

Emma Roome, Senior Project Manager at Wolfestone added: "I joined Wolfestone as a Project Manager back in February 2009 and, due to the rapid growth of the company, I’m now the Senior Project Manager in charge of the project management team. I could not be happier with the career progression and training opportunities I’ve had during my time at the company. In the relatively short period since I started, I have achieved a City and Guilds Professional Development Award in Project Management, an ILM Certificate in Front Line Management and now the APM Certificate. I could not have managed all this, on top of the responsibilities of my role, if it were not for the support I have received, not only from the Directors, but the team as a whole."
