GN Netcom signs up over 500 new channel partners; half of which are traditional IT resellers


Following the launch of GN Netcom’s new partner programme in June last year, more than 500 partners have joined the scheme, half of which are traditional IT resellers. The success of the programme is due to the profit opportunities from the increased demand for wireless headsets, driven by the growth for mobility and increased productivity within the office environment.


[ClickPress, Wed Jan 24 2007] Following the launch of GN Netcom’s new partner programme in June last year, more than 500 partners have joined the scheme, half of which are traditional IT resellers. The success of the programme is due to the profit opportunities from the increased demand for wireless headsets, driven by the growth for mobility and increased productivity within the office environment.

By bundling the high-margin GN headsets with other products such as PCs, network, voice and office equipment resellers can frequently revisit their customer base and up-sell their existing portfolio, offering customers a complete communications solutions.

“We have been blown away with the response to the new partner programme, particularly from the IT reseller community,” explained Jan McNair, Managing Director, GN Netcom. “The success has been driven by two factors, one the in-creasing demand for high quality wireless headsets and two GN Netcom’s understanding and commitment to our channel.“

Resellers such as IP Office and Opal have joined the programme which offers benefits such as free training and dedicated sales personnel, marketing support and discounts. Over the last six months GN Netcom has launched their partner dedicated online portal – PartnerNet - launched a partner e-learning programme and strengthened its channel sales team to support the new partners.

“Installing Voice over Internet Protocol in new and existing companies will be the mainstay of our business in the coming year,” explained Mark Collett, Sales Director, IP Office Ltd. “GN Netcom’s comprehensive portfolio of products will enable us to give users a complete solution whilst at the same increasing revenue.”
