Jim Stilgenbauer, vice president of client services at The Castleton Group, a full service HR outsourcing company, has announced that the firm has been recognized as the 2006 Best Place to Work in the Small Business Category by the Cincinnati Business Courier. The award is based on a survey performed by Cincinnati Business Courier with Quantum Market Research. The small business category encompasses businesses with 1 to 50 employees. The Castleton Group received this recognition at a luncheon on Nov 9 at the Kentucky Convention Center.

Workers in Cincinnati nominated their employers as a Best Place to Work in a survey. Nominated companies received an online opinion survey to distribute to workers. Employees then were asked to gauge their level of agreement to a set of 40 quantitative questions that probed their opinions about the organization, managers, co-workers and their own jobs. The survey also allowed respondents to enter qualitative, general comments anonymously. Winners were the top 10 finishers among small, midsize and large businesses.
