As the site has grown to include international members its content has been revised to take into account the wide range of car models in the global automotive market.

All of the articles on the site have been updated and revised to reflect the latest tuning and styling techniques and the site boasts an active and growing Worldwide user membership, common sense tuning and styling tips and comprehensive picture gallery covering major auto events,cruises and meets around the world with many of our members supplying their own car pictures and stories. The forum is well supported by many die hard car enthusiasts and includes Tuned Japanese cars, classic American Muscle cars and powerful executive pan European models including Audi, Mercedes, GM and Toyota.

http://www.torquecars.com started as a hobby, run from "a bedroom". It was setup by Waynne Smith initially as a hobby based on his experience with a Rover 220 Gti, initially to give advice to those looking to tune up a car. Following the frustrations of misleading manufacturers claims and being dogged by reliability issues Waynne set about sharing his experience with the internet fraternity and finding like minded tuners. The hobby has turned into an obsession. Page after page has been added and Torquecars had grown, gaining wide recognition as one of the UK’s leading independently run tuning and styling websites. The site has been noticed and bookmarked by many and recently hit it’s 1,000,000 unique visitor milestone just 3 years after it was originally devised and launched.
